Probably a year ago I met this girl at a party. She was the girlfriend, or maybe special friend, of this guy I've known since high school. She seemed to be really nice. My friends and I hung out with her for a majority of the night; it seemed as though we had made a new friend. Weirdly, every time we've seen her since that night she's been nothing but nasty towards us. She constantly gives us dirty looks and acts like we just ran over her dog or something of that nature. I am not at all exaggerating either, she literally started disliking us the next day!
I recently just saw her and she's still just so bitter for what seems to be no reason at all. All of this made me wonder why people put such feeling into disliking someone. Is there some sort of satisfaction from being mean to people you do not even really know? After thinking about it a lot of people do this. Walking down the street, or especially on a school campus, you see so many people watch someone walk by and completely bad mouth them. Some of these people they do not even know! It's completely ridiculous and such a waste of time. You get nothing out of this so just move on with your life! There is so much more out there to focus on than some person you supposedly don't care anything about.
I'm not getting into deep though about this because I'm hurt or anything. I personally do not care if you dislike me but what is the purpose of always trying to make it apparent. I just do not get it. This girl I mentioned in the beginning knows nothing about me or my friends. She got to know us all of one night together and already made the decision to think we're bitches. What makes the situation even more ridiculous is that fact that she practically made herself our best friend that night. Where she gets all this hate from, I really don't know. At this point I could not really care less but what gets me is that she always has to make it known that we are not her favorite people. It seemed as though she was putting so much effort into being our friend. Now this girl literally goes out of her way to get in our eyesight and give us dirty looks.
It makes me think that you have to have no real life of your own if you can focus all your energy on disliking a random group of girls. I guess my real point of this blog is to say if you don't like someone please do not go out of your way to make it known. Unless there is some amazing justifiable reason, please do not be lame.
